Nest is a Ecommerce WordPress theme to create a website for online shoping. Nest is a clean responsive wordpress theme. Nest comes with powerful Redux Framework (Theme Options) and Elementor page Builder with theme. The theme comes with the option Woocommerce , Compare , Wishlist , ajax search , Mailchimp 4 & contact form to allow users to contact you. Nest is fully compatible with latest version of plugins to allow you easy handling. The Nest comes with one click demo and also more flexible features.

# WordPress General Informations

To install this theme you must have a working version of WordPress already installed. If you need help installing WordPress, follow the instructions in WordPress Codex. Below are all the useful links for WordPress information.

# Theme Requirements

To use Nest, please make sure you are running WordPress 4.3 or higher, PHP 7.1 or higher, and MySQL 5.6 or higher. We have tested it with Mac, Windows. Besides, please check the recommended server configuration for proper theme functioning: Our Recommended Version above wordpress 5.0 and php 7.1.

Minimum server configuration

  • PHP version - 7.3 or higher
  • MySQL version - 5.6 or higher
  • memory_limit – 256M
  • max_execution_time – 1000
  • max_input_time –1000
  • upload_max_filesize – 256M

# Theme Upload And Activation

There are 2 ways to upload the theme. Please fallow the given steps.
Via Dashboard
  • Navigate to Appearance → Themes in your WordPress admin dashboard.
  • Click the Add New button at the top of the page then go for the Theme Upload option.
  • For the file upload, pick Theme Files / steelthemes-nest.zip in the theme package downloaded from ThemeForest and click Install Now.
  • Click Activate once the upload has finished and you're ready for the next step: Installing the Plugins.
Via FTP (Recommended)
  • Extract the theme package downloaded from ThemeForest steelthemes-nest.zip open the folder.
  • Open any FTP aplication like Filezilla navigate to the directory of the Theme.
  • Upload, the theme file ( steelthemes-nest.zip ) in the package.
  • Navigate to Appearance → Themes in your WordPress admin dashboard.
  • Click Activate once the upload has finished and you're ready for the next step: Installing the Plugins.

# Next Theme Setup

To Insall Plugins
  • Go to Nest ==> click theme setup and import demo ==> Theme wizard Setup will option ==> Follow all steps install child theme , pluigns and import demo content

# To Import Demo Content

One Click Installation

Nest comes with one click demo installation exactly like the original demo. You just need to verify that you have set the
  • Memory Limit: 256 MB
  • Max. Execution Time: 0 (Unlimited)
  • Max. Post Size: 64 MB
  • Go to Appearance > Import Demo Content.
  • Click Import Demo Content Button it will take to another page then click continue and wait for few minutes to import

# To Import Slider Revolution Manually

  • Go to Slider revolution > Click Import Button --> Choose the file form nest-package --< on revolution-slider folder.
  • If you Choose the Slide.zip files it will automatically start importing.

# Enable Elementor Editor for all the post types

  • From the WordPress left menu go to Elementor > Settings.
  • In General tab, enable the Post types which you need the ability of editing in Elementor.
  • Save the Changes.

# Follow this video to regenerate the elementor files

  • From the WordPress left menu go to Elementor > tools -> General --> Click Regenerate Files. and click save Changes Button

# To Set up the Homepage & Blog

If you used Demo Import to add your pages, the homepage should already be set.

To set a custom page as homepage:
  • Go to Settings - Reading
  • Select a Static Page option
  • Choose your page from the drop-down list
