# Theme Requirements

To use Risehand, please make sure you are running WordPress 6 or higher, PHP 7.4 or higher, and MySQL 5.6 or higher. We have tested it with Mac, Windows. Besides, please check the recommended server configuration for proper theme functioning: Our Recommended Version above wordpress 5.5 and php 7.4.

Minimum server configuration

  1. PHP version - 7.4 and higher
  2. MySQL version - 5.6 or higher
  3. memory_limit – 512M
  4. max_execution_time – 1000
  5. max_input_time – 300
  6. upload_max_filesize – 216M

Note : If you are Wpbakery user just deactivate wpbakery( Elementor )

# Theme , Pluign Installation and Import Demo Content

There are 2 ways to upload the theme. Please fallow the given steps.

Via Dashboard

  1. Navigate to Appearance → Themes in your WordPress admin dashboard.
  2. Click the Add New button at the top of the page then go for the Theme Upload option.
  3. For the file upload, pick Theme Files / Risehand.zip in the theme package downloaded from ThemeForest and click Install Now.
  4. Click Activate and it will redirect you to the theme setup wizard. Then execute the steps to install the child theme, install the plugin and import the demo content after finish import click => view your Website.
    5. After click activate the setup wizard doesn't wake up then go to Risehand ==> Click Theme Setup / Import Demo and it will take you to the theme setup wizard.

Via FTP (Recommended)

  1. Extract the theme package downloaded from ThemeForest Risehand-main-package.zip open the folder.
  2. Open any FTP aplication like Filezilla navigate to the directory of the Theme.
  3. For the file upload, pick Theme Files / Risehand.zip in the theme package downloaded from ThemeForest.
  4. Navigate to Appearance → Themes in your WordPress admin dashboard.
  5. Click Activate once the upload has finished and you're ready for the next step: Installing the Plugins.

If you Imported demo content , the homepage should already be set.

To set a custom page as homepage:

  1. Go to Settings - Reading.
  2. Select a Static Page option.
  3. Select page for front page and blog.

# How to enable maintenance mode (stagin site option) , Site Cookies , Preloader for site and Backtotop ?

  1. Go to Risehand ==> theme option ==> general settings ==> Enable Maintance mode
  2. Customers cannot view your site after complete your work disable that option
  3. Go to Risehand ==> theme option ==> general settings ==> Cookies Mode Enable / Disable
  4. Cookies option enable on your site
  5. Go to Risehand ==> theme option ==> general settings ==> Preloader Enable / Disable
  6. Preloader Will enable on your site
  7. Go to Risehand ==> theme option ==> general settings ==> Back to Top Enable / Disable
  8. Back to Top Will enable on your site

# To Create the Menu

Defining a Menu

You must define a menu before you can add items to it.

  1. Login to the WordPress Dashboard.
  2. From the 'Appearance' menu on the left-hand side of the Dashboard, select the 'Menus' option to bring up the Menu Editor.
  3. Select Create a new menu at the top of the page
  4. Enter a name for your new menu in the Menu Name box
  5. Click the Create Menu button.

Your new custom menu has now been defined.

# Adding Items to a Menu

You can add different link types into your menu, these are split between panes left of the menu you're currently editing.

  1. Locate the pane entitled Pages.
  2. Within this pane, select the View All link to bring up a list of all the currently published Pages on your site.
  3. Select the Pages that you want to add by clicking the checkbox next to each Page's title.
  4. Click the Add to Menu button located at the bottom of this pane to add your selection(s) to the menu that you created in the previous step.
  5. Click the Save Menu button once you've added all the menu items you want.

Your custom menu has now been saved.

# How to edit Header after importing and display by using theme option for entire site and change header for particular pages ?

  1. On your Wordpress Dashboard ==> go to Risehand ==> Header ==> Choose the header style and Click Edit with elementor
  1. It will take to header elementor editor area there you can change the content and menu

  1. After Creating the headers go to Risehand => Theme option => Header Settings => Enable Custom header => Then select headers ==> Click save changes Buttton.

  2. Scroll Down Yow will find general settings -> under enable header custom --> and select the header and click update button.

# How to Edit footer After Importing ?

  1. On your Wordpress Dashboard ==> go to Risehand ==> Footer ==> Choose the Footer style and Click Edit with elementor
  2. It will take to Footer elementor editor area there you can change the content there

  1. Go to apperance -- widgets
  2. There you can find page sidebar , blog sidebar , Service , Portfolio , Give Wp sidebar ( Dontation ) and shop Sidebar
  3. You can change the content there

After adding sidebar blocks you need to set the layout to display sidebars

  1. Go to Risehand -- theme option -- layout settings
  2. And change the layout to right sidebar or no sidebar or left sidebar

# How to change page title background and breadcrumb for custom post type ?

  2. You can change page title image , hide breadcrumb and change the colors

  1. Go to Risehand -- Theme option -- Custom Post / Breadcrumb Settings
  2. There you can chane custom post type breadcrumb link

  4. Rename the slug name for service , portfolio and volunteer post
